The Operations Executive is a link between the Consignee/Shipper and his shipment. The Consignee/Shipper is our customer and hence the most important role of the Ops Executive is to give full and concise information to the Consignee/Shipper of his shipment and to ensure that all connections are made as per schedule, documentation completed as needed and the goods are cleared on time from the Customs.

The Position / Job Role:

1. Provide Customers with relevant details on pricing, movement and documentation of their shipment.

2. Ensure that all necessary Airline / Marine Rules and Regulatoins are adhered to, while providing our customers with excellent service.

3. Ensure that all necessary cargo related documentation is filed, Track Sheet updated, and all periodic reports are sent on time.

4. Ensure that the highest standards of customer service are maintained overall, and also maintain quality standards in each interaction with the customers.

5. Support our Agents by assisting them with their general enquiries.

6. Keep abreast of International Geography and Legislations, news and updates, to ensure relevant professional and company standards are maintained.

7. Support the Sales / Accounts departments on closing the end of day sales and banking monies received.

8. Identify customer needs and sell related products, through rapport building, actively seeking out sales opportunities and promoting all Compass related products. Actively be involved in suggesting new ideas and providing recommendations on the improvement of the services provided, thereby increasing revenue and ensuring continued success for Compass, as a world class forwarding service provider.
